The word yoga translates to our language as to unite, to connect. Connection is the most important aspect of my classes; I believe connecting inward enables you to connect with all other aspects of life.
My work includes:
Education beyond just the poses of yoga into philosophy, pranayama, meditation, mudra, and mantra
Providing mindfulness and meditation workshops
Coaching group classes in studio and private parties
1:1 Private Yoga sessions tailored to individual goals
Asana classes taught include multiple types of yoga such as Nidra, Restorative, Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, HIIT, Partner Yoga, and more
I am encouraged and excited by new things and getting to know others. My work continues to diversify with each person I am blessed to teach.
Welcome to Who I Am
My name is Tiffanie, and I have been practicing yoga since I was 19 years old.
My journey began with aesthetics - I just wanted to have a yoga looking body and do cool stuff. But as time went on and I continued to practice, I began to feel the benefits of the practice not only in my body, but in my mind and my heart as well. And as my practiced continued, and I became more and more open to learning, I felt the gifts on an even deeper level yet; I felt it in my very core, I decided that I wanted to share this with others and committed to a YTT200 in 2018.
My teacher training was a month long immersion in Pokhara, Nepal. In addition to my teacher training curriculum, we were able to go out and explore a world and culture so very different than the one I was raised with. My knowledge and love deepened even more, and I was changed as a person from then onward.
Aside from yoga, I have pursued a professional career in physical therapy and at salon/spas. Its always been a passion of mine to provide care for others and help expand within them the opportunity to care for themselves.
My approach to yoga and PT has always been individualized and safety oriented, through the scope of kindness and love. It doesn’t matter what your body looks like, it doesn’t matter what anyone else in the room is doing, it doesn’t matter what depth you practice any movement or aspect of yoga; what matters is that at the end of my classes you have practiced in a mindful and caring way for yourself.
Beyond my official training in yoga and as a PTA, I continue to pursue knowledge and experience on my own. I learn from others, I read, and I perceive life through a different lens.
I am both grateful and humbled to have had the opportunities and experience to truly connect with others and share the practice and eternally looking forward to more.
With love,
Tiffanie
